LRSI

  • The goal of the EMM project was to establish outdoor space that bridged the connection of the house to the greater native landscape, while also creating a landscape that would facilitate an indoor / outdoor way of life. The house sits in the middle of acres of piñon juniper forest, but was immediately surrounded by barren land heavily impacted by construction 10 years prior.
  • LRSI needed to create a strong relationship between the house and the outdoor space immediately around it to correct past construction impacts. The stones used in the hardscape were all site collected.
  •  "Linda designed and installed a beautiful context-sensitive landscape plan using native plants, as well as a hardscape strategy using new and repurposed materials, which transformed my home. Linda's plan provides a water-wise design that flourishes throughout the four Southwest Colorado seasons" - Property Owner
